From March 26 through 30, 2009 the renowned Encores! series at Manhattan's City Center will present the full-length, original Finian's Rainbow with a full orchestra. A new 30-track CD called Over the Rainbow: The Great Songs of Yip Harburg will be released by the Yip Harburg Foundation in 2006 or 2007. It will contain performances by Lena Horne, Tony Bennett, Maureen McGovern, Catherine Russell, Tommy Hollis, Judy Garland, Groucho Marx, Yip and others. 'S Wonderful, 'S Marvelous: Studies in American Popular Song, coming soon from a publisher to be announced, contains a chapter on Yip by Benjamin Sears.
